Hello my dear readers,
I don’t know you, but I am a salad lover. Salads help increase the feeling of satiety without making you gain weight, and they are low in calories and rich in vitamins and minerals that are precious for the body.

And because I eat it every day, I always like to find new combinations of flavours.
This is not only a healthy salad but also a nutritious and delicious lunch, and pretty too 🙂
Never miss a recipe:

Thank you!
Too pretty to eat. Food art!!!
Thank you very much!
In my lifetime I have had to learn over time that salad is a meal – growing up I never felt full with one – but then I never had one like this 🙂
To feel full, need to make it a balanced meal. The greens and fruits are full of fibers and vitamins, so by adding proteins like chicken, fish or tofu, and fats from cheese or extra virgin olive oil, it becomes a complete balanced meal, that keep you full for a longer time, compared with eating carbs like rice or pasta 😉
Oh my, this is so mouth-watering. Another salad lover here.
I’m glad you like it 😉 It’s a great combination of flavors 😋
Looks amazing too.
Thank you ☺️
Ribana, this is a beautiful salad. I really like the addition of dates. Dates are a particular flavor of mine and outside of the Middle East area, I haven’t found many recipes using them.
Thank you very much Bernadette! I’m glad you like it! We use dates quite often because they have a great consistency that goes well in lots of recipes sweet and savory as well 😉
I eat salads mostly every day for lunch. But what you’ve done here is really special. Dates are wonderful!
Thank you very much! Me too! I can’t go 2 days without having a fresh salad 😋 and the good thing is that there are endless ways of doing them 😉 Dates are a great addition 😋
Looks out of this world. I like that your added two flowers
Thank you very much! Our eyes need their part too 😉😋
This sounds absolutely delicious! Some of my favourite ingredients – never through to add dates and pomegranate together. Thank you for sharing!
I’m glad you like it! It is a great combination of flavors 😉😋
I could eat a salad every day and not get tired of them. I’ve only used dates in desserts, I think it is time to use them in something savory like your pretty salad.
That’s the beauty of salads, that are so many ways to do them that you can’t get tired of them 😉 And are so healthy and delicious too! Dates complement this salad perfectly 😉😋 Enjoy it!
I LOVE salads… I never get sick of them.. my new thing is making salad rice bowls with any type of protein I can find! So filling! Yum!! thanks for the recipes! 🙂
I’m glad you like salads! Yes, are so many ways to do them, that you can’t get bored of them 😉 Salad rice bowls are delicious too! I usually do them when I need to “clean” my fridge 😉 because they are so versatile that you can do them with whatever you have on hand 😉

As a trained salad chef, my faves are salads, but as a no longer eat salad chef , sadly l can only but drool at yours 🙂
That’s really sad Rory and I hope you’ll manage to sort that out too!
It’s basically poor digestion issues, l don’t even need a test to tell me that, we know our bodies better than most.
That is not just delicious but a piece of artwork! Nice job!
Thank you very much Diane! Very appreciated!
What a delicious and pretty-looking salad! I love the touch of flowers—perfect for spring! 🙂
