I know I haven’t been super active on this platform, but I try to pop in at least once a month with a quick update. Hopefully, there’ll be a time when I can be more present—and maybe even share some of my favorite recipes.
It’s not that I’m not cooking; I just haven’t tried anything new recently. I definitely need to fix that, and hopefully, sooner rather than later!
In the meantime, here I am with a few snapshots from my September adventures. Enjoy!
September was a rainy month in PhuketWe found a snake skin right by our front door. Looks like our slithery neighbor has been doing some wardrobe changes! We finally fired up the grill and had ourselves a barbecue! The smell of sizzling goodness filled the air, and let’s just say, it was long overdue. Sadly, Kamala Beach has been plagued by plastic and rubbish yet again. It’s a real downer to see such a beautiful spot get cluttered with waste. Those signs always manage to be adorable! Of course, the month couldn’t end without a trip! We squeezed in a short getaway to Hong Kong for a few days.

How was your month? Don’t forget to savor the little things and find happiness in them.
October’s here, and surprise, surprise—we’re back at the airport, this time heading to Jakarta for work.
NOTE: I’ve used a different type of gallery for the photos this time, so fingers crossed you’re able to see the description for each one!
Sounds like time to work and relax when it’s raining. Mother Nature can do wonders and such harm. Luckily now harm in Phuket. Finding little on the beach burns me up, people can be so careless. In Cabo, Mexico I was walking the beach and came upon thousand of dead puffer fish, they are my fav and my heart was broken. Have an awesome October! 🙂
Yes, Mother Nature is very powerful! It did some harm in Phuket too last months with flooding and landslides but now the weather is better, is almost high season so is not raining so often. Yes, people can be very careless. It is sad to see the beach full of plastic or dead fishes…
Thank you! Wish you a lovely October too!
When I was diving you would see so much crap on the ocean floor, what about the animals I would think. Take good care. I’m leaving for The Mayo Clinic on Saturday and pray to come home with a diagnosis. 🙂
