Monday Motivation

Hello my dear readers,

As you embark on this Monday, carry with you the gentle reminder that life is not a race, but a journey to be savored at your own unique pace. In a world that often rushes us from one milestone to the next, it’s important to remember the value of moving in harmony with your own rhythm. Doing things at your own pace doesn’t mean falling behind; it means aligning with what feels right for you, ensuring that each step is taken with intention and purpose. Today, give yourself permission to slow down if needed, to reflect, and to appreciate the moments as they come. Let this approach bring a sense of peace and fulfillment to your tasks and interactions. Embrace the journey of this Monday, and every day, with the understanding that by honoring your pace, you’re not only nurturing your well-being but also cultivating a life rich in meaningful experiences. Remember, the beauty of life unfolds not in the speed with which we travel, but in the quality of our journey.

I rely like what you’re expressing here. I’m 67, and spent most of my adult life feeling inferior to my “peers” because I lacked the credentials that define success in life. I just never “made it” . In 2012 my dear husband Russ died suddenly. That’s when I began creating. It was therapeutic, and I began to find connection through my art. I’m untrained and not known, but I have finally found my “not success” success. Thank you for your encouraging post. 🌸

Thank you for sharing your story. It’s a powerful reminder that success is not a one-size-fits-all journey. The beauty of creating art is that it comes from the heart, not from credentials. I’m so sorry to hear about your husband Russ’s passing, but it’s inspiring to see how you’ve channeled your experiences into something so meaningful and transformative. Your “not success” success is a testament to the unique paths we all walk in life. Keep embracing your creativity—your art is your legacy. Thank you for stopping by, and please continue to share your journey.

That’s such a beautiful quote. And that’s so true – life isn’t a race, we all have our own experiences and. circumstances that help determine how it goes. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

Great advice. I remember one time we were traveling to Boston from Canada. Some of us decided to fly, and some to drive. The moment we gathered together, we who drove in the car couldn’t stop bragging about all the scenery we saw along the way. We completely forgot about the time it took because we were in awe of what we came across. Sometimes when we rush things, we become blind to the beauty of the journey, and can easily miss certain things which would be extremely beneficial to our lives. Blessings.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story! It’s a perfect reminder of the value in taking our time and appreciating the journey. The experiences and sights you encountered along the way are irreplaceable, and they enrich our lives in ways we might not expect. Sometimes, slowing down and being present can reveal the most beautiful and beneficial moments. Blessings to you as well!

Sometimes the journey is just as precious as the destination. And at other times, it can be better! We live in a rush rush society, and then complain why life can be so miserable. The best things can be found when we slow down.
