Monday Motivation

Hello my dear readers,

Monday morning is a special time—it’s the starting run for a week of work and a chance to set goals for oneself. I find that how I think on Monday morning has a significant effect on my mindset for the entire week, so I try to focus on positive thinking and feeling motivated. While it can be tough getting over the Monday blues, I take comfort in knowing there are seven days ahead with lots of possibilities. This is especially true working from home—I’ve learned it’s important to get up, dress appropriately, start the day with some inspiring music, grab a cup of coffee and set intentions so I stay productive throughout the week. Instead of dreading Mondays, I look forward to them now, as they give me an opportunity every week to start fresh and work toward my long-term goals!

  1. I need to be reminded; especially since the days are just flying by! Where are they going? It’s going to be mid-week tomorrow. I’ve had to revamp my goals and do a new schedule because I really need structure and a little background music; of course with Coffee and Jesus to start my day; He’s always with me so I can talk to Him all day off and on….and really….His Spirit speaks back to me; He says “Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee!”
