Hello my dear readers,
And just like that, one month has passed by already, and February is here.

How was your first month of 2022?
How have you started the new year?
Between office work and kitchen work, my January simply flew by.
For this year, I’ve made a deal with myself to read at least one book per month between my busy schedule, and I’m happy that I’ve managed to do it so far π
I’ve finished The Midnight Library by Matt Haig because once I’ve started reading it, I couldn’t stop π

“We don’t have to do everything in order to be everything, because we are already infinite. While we are alive we always contain a future of multifarious possibility.”
– a passage from The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Isn’t this beautifully said? And it is so right!
Synopsis of the book:
Nora’s life has been going from bad to worse. Then, at the stroke of midnight on her last day on earth, she finds herself transported to a library. There, she is given the chance to undo her regrets, and try out each of the other lives she might have lived.
Which raises the ultimate question: with infinite choices, what is the best way to live?
Really an amazing book! I strongly recommend it!
Wish you all a wonderful February, filled with health, happiness, love and lots of accomplishments.
February is the month of LOVE, but LOVE can’t be limited to only one month. LOVE needs to be celebrated every day! LOVE and LIVE every day!

My January flew with babies around π . Stepping into Feb, as always a Busy Bee. Focusing more to switch my current job, hopefully this month will bless me with new job π I hope. Wish you too a wonderful Feb π₯³
I guess is not easy with the twins around π
I hope February will be your lucky month and youβll find a better job Simon ππ€π»ππ»
ha ha, that’s very trueπ π Thank you Ribana π₯°π₯°
January was a bad month for me. Near the end, it just dragged on. Even though Iβm not a huge fan of February which seems to drag on as well, Iβm hoping it will be better than the last. Goodbye January 2022!
Reading books is a great goal. I am hoping to write some intuitive blog posts. Iβve got a lot of ideas but putting them into words is another story. I do Animal Crossing landscaping/terraforming for a hobby, so Iβm hoping to share some of tours/photos in the upcoming months. I have more fun landscaping than I do playing the game itself π I was inspired to name my island Sentosa after Sentosa Island in Singapore π
Hi Hilary, Iβm sorry to hear that January was not good, and I hope your February will be better!
I love being transported into another world by a good book ππ I hope Iβll be able to keep it up π
Landscaping sounds fun π€© Sentosa is a little bit quiet now without tourists but is a wonderful place to just chill out π
This sounds like a great time of year to visit Singapore! If it wasnβt for the pandemic, I would be there right now. π·
Iβm thinking about doing a smart phone ban this month so I can focus more on personal projects. I find I waste too much time on apps, YouTube, and safari (internet browsing on my phone). I deleted safari already weβll see how this goes. Might try time-blocking too, similar to what I did in university. Iβm hoping to be more productive this month! π
On one side is a great time to visit Singapore just to chill out, but on the other side, since no tourists, lots of places are out of businessβ¦
Maybe a smartphone ban is a little bit drastic βΊοΈ but reducing the usage definitely helps you do other thingsβ¦at the end of end of the week, when I receive the usage report, I see my time spent on my phone is always lesser βΊοΈ
Iβm averaging 5 hours a day on my phone and the majority is spent browsing the web (safari on iPhone). Today has been a safari-free day so itβs a start! π
Going on vacation sounds lovely, especially these days. I spent most of January sick or cold or both. I dream of palm trees and sunshine! As for tourist places, my husband has grandparents who live in Singapore π If anything, we would be visiting family.
Wow, 5 hours a day is a lot π
I hope your phone free days are going well π
Weβve been stuck here for more than 2 years now without being able to travelβ¦I canβt wait for a vacation π€© I hope weβll be able to travel soon!
I hope Iβll still be here when youβll come to visit π
Ti auguro un dolce febbraio, Riby!
Grazie altrettanto cara Luisella! πΈ
Grazie π
I’m so pleased you liked the book. I used to go running with his father when Matt was a teenager.
Itβs a wonderful book! Iβm so glad Iβve found it and will definitely look for his other books ππ And while I was reading the book I have also seen a movie on Netflix βA Boy Called Christmasβ based on his book π
My January was cold and grey but productive despite all this.
Happy Lunar New Year, Happy February, a new year and a new month full of possibilities.
I have the Midnight Library on my nightstand waiting its turn!
Important is that was a productive month despite all π
I hope your February will be equally productive and less cold π
Thank you very much Dorothy! Hopefully February will be more productive for me too βΊοΈ
Thatβs great π€© Itβs really a wonderful book! Enjoy it!
Happy Valentine week to you
Thank you! Same to you! Have a lovely month!
Wishing you a lovely month ahead Ribana π
Thank you Rory! Same to you! βΊοΈ
