My Cooking Tip # 8

Hello my dear readers,

Here we are, with my eighth tip in the kitchen:

Clean as you go.

If you want at the end of your dinner to not spend too much time in the kitchen washing and tidying up, while your food is cooking, start washing and wiping the tools and dishes that you don’t need anymore, instead of just piling them into the sink. If you embrace the clean-as-you-go method, you’ll have less mess and more time for yourself after dinner.

Never miss a post:

Happy cooking and eating! Have a lovely day!

Which is precisely what I do. I hate waking up to a full sink.

This is exactly what my Culinary Queen does. Since I am the washer upper I get a bonus too.

And then enjoy your day or evening 😉

I embraced cooking as a child because my mother definitely was not of your mind and it was easier to cook and clean as I created rather than clean up a huge mess of encrusted pots and pans.

I think it is more scary at the end of cooking finding the kitchen in a mess and with lots of pots, pans and dishes to wash than actually cooking 😅

        For sure!

I always clean while I go!! Super good advise🙂

That’s wonderful! Means that you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the kitchen after your meals 😉 Thank you!

Good advice. I do this because I cannot bear the clutter and mess of not cleaning up as I go.

Thank you Anne! Exactly same here, I panic if I see my kitchen in a mess 😅☺️

Yes this is what I do almost all the time. After cooking you get tired so that is the best thing and once you eat we like to rest. Thank you for your post <3 <3 <3

Exactly! After cooking, can just enjoy the meal and then have a rest or enjoy the day or the evening…why spending time in the kitchen if we can avoid it right? 😉

I do this too! I hate having a pile of dishes waiting for me and all I want to do is veg on the couch with a good book or show lol

    1. popsiclesociety Avatar

Exactly 😉 I’m glad you use it too! Is always better to enjoy a good book or a tv show instead of washing dishes 😉

Its the best thing we do to avoid utensils piling up after cooking.. I do this while cooking and saves a lot a time..

I’m very glad you find it useful! Is always better to use our time wisely 😉

I do this and that’s why I’m on the brink of exploding how messy the kitchen looks when my husband cooks, but then I love when someone else make food, so do you see my dilemma? 🤣

    1. popsiclesociety Avatar

I’m in the same situation 😂😂 but it’s great when someone else is cooking 😁😁
