My Cooking Tip # 3

Hello my dear readers,

Here we are, with my third tip in the kitchen:

Read the full recipe first.

I know it sounds silly but if you’re cooking a recipe that you never did it before, the best tip I can give you is to read through the whole thing all the way through before you start to cook or bake.

Not only will this help you have a better understanding of what the final result should look and taste like, you’ll also be able to ascertain which pots, pans, and tools you need, as well as catch important instructions like β€œlet it rest for 2 hours or the worst part: overnight.”

If you’re planning to eat it right away or serve it to your guests in the same day, this information is very useful πŸ˜‰

  1. Couldn’t agree more! We’ve made the mistake of not reading a recipe in its entirety before, and the dish has suffered as a result. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I definitely need to take your advice here! I’m always setting out to bake something which then needs to refrigerated for 2 hours or marinaded overnight πŸ™ˆ thank you for sharing πŸ™πŸ»

  3. I also follow this tipπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ˜€
I also imagine myself cooking that dish while reading instructions so that I sort of know beforehand what all steps needs to be followed and I don’t miss any ingredient πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you! Yes, that’s always wise, especially when we expect to eat immediately but then we find out it takes hours to make πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‰ or we expect it to raise while we’ve forgot the baking powder πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‰
