Friday Funday

Hello my dear readers,

Finally, starting from 7th April also Singapore is in partial lockdown. The company where I work is part of the list of services that support the essential services, so no need to close but if possible we should work from home.

And finally these days I was allowed to work from home.

It is so great! I can concentrate more and I am more productive than being in the officeย ๐Ÿ˜‰

How was your week?

I hope you are allowed to work from home and avoid as much as you can going out!

Today is Good Friday so we have a long weekend ๐Ÿ˜‰

Time to relax ๐Ÿ˜‰

Enjoy your weekend!

And please stay at home and stay safe!

  1. Yup! here also same situation, more cooking, more eating, more workouts, less office work ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚ we are literally having fun๐Ÿ˜‚ GIF is so funny ๐Ÿ™‚ have fun at work from home, more family time too ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a beautiful day ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Never thought I would say this, but I am sick of documentaries. I watched so many of them today and I think tomorrow I need to find a workout or something. The good news about the quarantine is that I am getting closer and closer to pantry zero. I am trying to clean out the pantry before buying more food! Stay home and watch Netflix couldn’t be more true, but even I am getting tired of it and this is only Day 5 of Netflix? Something like that….

    1. Only day 5 and youโ€™re getting sick of it? Then trying to get your pantry to zero is a good way to spend your time ๐Ÿ˜‰
And the fun thing is that you can amaze yourself with whatever you can do with the things you find in the pantry ๐Ÿคช
I have the same goal too ๐Ÿคช
Important is to stay safe ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒธ

      1. I don’t use social media anymore (accounts exist but I don’t check em’) so I don’t have that outlet to turn to when I get bored. I am surprised that I am getting sick of watching TV. Yet, YouTube videos don’t seem to get old. I could watch hours and hours of YouTube videos!

Now is a perfect time to get creative and cook up a storm! I am trying to minimize my spending as well, and am cooking all meals at home during the quarantine. #pantry-zero is a good goal to have. The more you can clear out the pantry, the better! ๐Ÿ˜€

      2. Social media is only a waste of time ๐Ÿคช You are doing very good in not checking them ๐Ÿ˜‰YouTube videos can be interesting too but after a while you can get sick of them too…so maybe is better to alternate them ๐Ÿคช
Great goal in pantry-zero ๐Ÿ˜‰ That’s a great way of spending your time ๐Ÿ˜‰ and definitely the food you eat is better, tastier and healthier ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Companies should promote working from home. Employees can move their office computer to their home offices. If they have Voice over IP (VoIP) Phones, they just have to hook them up to the Internet and they keep their phone extensions. It would reduce traffic and gasoline expenses greatly.

    1. Very true! I guess this is a great exercise for everyone! I just hope company owners will be so open and see the advantages ๐Ÿ˜‰
We do have an IP phones and really works perfectly ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. I am glad you are staying home and are able to continue with your work from there. I hope we all use good judgement and bring this crisis to a close. Stay safe!

  5. HI Rabina,
Am retired now & so far am enjoying the mental space this period has created. A big wake up call.
In the early years of my career I was hospital based so teamwork was essential & of course we were nursing patients. Health Visiting/public health nursing we were lone workers visiting families with children under 5 years.
In the early years at my first clinic the support & humour we shared in the office 9-10 & 4-5 before & after visits was vital but in later years as I moved around some of these teams could be irritating & unhelpful. Thank God I had my clients to visit to remain sane.
Happy Easter Rabina to you & yours ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

    1. Hi Margaret,
Thank you very much for sharing!
Yes, I guess this is a big wake up call! Over the years I believe the world situation change people’s behaviour and unfortunately not towards improving it but worsening it…๐Ÿ˜ข
Staying sane and positive in a such negative and money driven world is not easy!
Happy Easter to you and your loved ones too! Stay safe and stay sane! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’•
