Christmas celebrations are over, New Year celebrations are over but eating never stops 🤪

A traditional meal for New Year that brings prosperity, Cotechino with lentils, an Italian charcuterie product, similar to salami, but that must be cooked

And of course, what’s better in a cold winter day than a hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream

 

Can’t stop eating 🤪🤪

What is the traditional meal that you eat for New Year?

For us is the last weekend in Italy and Monday we’re heading back to Singapore!

        Oh yes!! Now we are conscious about our food choices, but as a kid the whole attraction of attending a wedding was food only. Specially during winter weddings desserts used to awesome… Just like your hot chocolate with cream😋😋

    Oh, that hot chocolate. We went to a friends house and had barbecue beef sandwiches, pasta salad and baked beans, plus an excess of wonderful desserts.

    Well, you’re right. Eating must continue! I don’t have any traditions, and with my children gone, our meals are very different than they used to be! Love that octopus dish!

    Oh my goodness that all looked SO good! Our traditional New Years meal is pork roast and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes. Have a great trip and be safe!
