My Italian kitchen: refreshing watermelon cocktail

Hello my dear readers,

And another week has gone and weekend is here 😉

I don’t know how is the weather at your place, but here in Singapore is pretty hot nowadays. And since we have seen how many benefits the watermelon has, today let’s try a very easy and refreshing watermelon cocktail, so to celebrate the weekend 😉🥂

Watermelon cocktail

You only need a few ingredients:

  • watermelon
  • lime
  • gin or vodka or rum
  • ice

How to do it:

Cut the watermelon in pieces and add it to a blender together with some fresh lime juice.

Blend until smooth.

Pour mixture into a large jug. Add the alcohol and stir, or you can also do it as mocktail, so without alcohol, if you prefer.

Serve over ice. Garnish with lime wedges.

It is so simple but so refreshing on a summer day!

      Mocktail is very good too! With grape juice I guess will be a little bit sweeter but definitely delicious 🙂

    Oh my seems so delicious and yummy 😊😊😊 I never imagined Watermelon with Vodka or Gin but I’m sure it will be so delicious 😀 it looks so in the picture!

    I guess mocktail won’t be as delicious as cocktail, it’s always better with alcohol 😁😁

    Yum. I have a watermelon margarita on my blog. It’s fabulous. So I know I’d love this. I eat a little watermelon every day. There’s just two of us here, and my husband doesn’t eat a lot of fruit, so I’ve started buying already cut up fruit – not something I’ve ever done before. But it sure is handy!

      Oh yes, also the watermelon margarita is great 😋 We are also only in two and here is pretty common to buy the cut up fruit too 😉 If I don’t find the small watermelon, I always buy a slice which is almost 1kg 🤪🤪🤪 and in 2 days usually is gone 😉 Very handy indeed 😉
