In hot and humid summer days I don’t want to stay too much in the kitchen and this caprese salad is just perfect.
Slices of tomato and mozzarella cheese, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Spread fresh basil leaves, I always have a basil plant at home, it smells soo good, and drizzle with extravirgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Isn’t it that simple? Summer in the plate.
