Ingredients (for around 14 pancakes):
- 1 egg
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 140 g flour
- a pinch of salt
- 20 g brown sugar
- 30 g butter
In a bowl pour the milk, add the egg and mix together.
In another large bowl, sift together the flour, the baking powder, the sugar and the pinch of salt. Add the mix of milk and egg and add the melted butter. Mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
They are light and fluffy and not too sweet. Adding fruits and maple syrup is the perfect breakfast.
