My Sunday brunch

Oh well, I think is not a secret anymore that I like brunches 🙂 Actually I like to eat good food 🙂

What’s better than a good Sunday brunch in good company? 🙂

Sometimes, if we need to do some shopping Saturday or Sunday morning, we usually like to stop for a brunch also…shopping…food…goes well together 🙂

But is not something difficult to do and can very simple do it at home and can save some money too :)…it’s let’s say more than 50% cheaper doing it at home 🙂

What you need is only some bread, this time I’ve used a ciabatta bread,  other times I use English muffins, depends on what I have in the fridge, eggs, I have used spam this time (oh yes, sometimes I like to eat it), but you can use bacon, sausages or ham, Hollandaise sauce and some cherries tomatoes.

Start by cooking a little bit the cherries tomatoes in a pan with a little bit of salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil and with the lid on. Only for a few minutes, 3-4 minutes until you see the tomatoes are softer.

Take out the tomatoes and put the slices of spam and cook for 1-2 minutes each side.

Toast the bread and spread some Hollandaise sauce and add the slices of spam.

As a last thing, cook the eggs in the same pan and make sure the yolk is soft.

It is so easy but yet so delicious. You have everything that you need in a meal: protein, fibers, fat and carbs…Exquisite! You don’t believe me? Try it now! 🙂
