Hello my dear readers,

Saturday! I don’t know how is your Saturday but usually mine is pretty full. I’m always trying to organize my week in such a way to be free during the weekend but then I always find something else to add to my to do list and in the end Saturday is a busy day 🙂

but at leas I don’t need to go to work and my list is full with happy things to do such as offering a little bit of care to my few plants, taking a little bit care of myself, doing some research and writing my blog posts, enjoying nature by doing long walks into the reservoir or having new experiences in the kitchen 🙂 It can really take your whole day, you know?

Speaking about nature, is so sad what is happening with Brazil’s Amazon rainforest. Wildfires often occur in the dry season in Brazil but the space agency reports its satellite data has detected more than 72,000 fires since January 2019, an 83 % increase compared to the same period in 2018. In addition to the dry season, fires are deliberately started in efforts to illegally deforest land for cattle ranching. And now you would say: actions? Yes, the federal prosecutors will open official investigation into the rise in deforestation and forest fires, but that’s it! We are keep opening investigations but in the end we are destroying our world day by day!

Amazon, being the largest rainforest on the planet, is often referred to as the planet’s lungs, because it produces 20 % of the oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere, and beside being home to numerous species of fauna and flora, is vital in slowing global warming.

Wake up people! I guess this planet had enough! Please be considerate! Please respect our planet not only because is the only one we have, but because we consider ourselves human beings!

Be considerate! Enjoying nature doesn’t mean we need to destroy it!

We can enjoy nature in simple ways: don’t trow your garbage when you’re enjoying your walk into the forest, start using the cloth bags when you’re doing your shopping, stop using so much plastic, are only small things that can mean a lot.
