More baking classes, more fun

Hello my dear readers,

Another week is here and is the last week of January 2021. It is incredible how fast the time goes by.

I remember when I’ve registered for my first ever baking classes and now I’m almost at the end of the training.

Last Sunday I had another 2 baking sessions and we have learned the basics of blending in quick bread making and we have done sweet and savoury scones and banana bread.

I have never tried before to make scones, but are really easy to make and are very tasty.

But first, look at this gorgeous colour of this KitchenAid. What a beauty!

Then, we have learned the basics of creaming method in cake making and we have done chocolate chip muffins, marble pound cake and Devil’s food cake.

Yep, lots of baking also this time.

The second session for the day was all about mousse and meringue.

We’ve done a gorgeous chocolate Bavarian and a tiramisu with a rumy cream (oops, I’ve dropped a little bit more rum inside my cream 😉)

And for the first time ever I have done the Pavlova. It was just perfect. With a crisp crust and soft and very light inside.

What can I say? I’m really proud of my results so far.

Everything looked so good.

Those chocolate Bavarian cakes looks like the ones from the bakeries 😉

What an amazing and colourful experience. Just like this pavlova 😉

Next Sunday will be my last baking classes and will be all about custards and creams and of course choux pastry.

Sounds so so delicious 😋
