A piece of Lebanon

Have you ever visited Lebanon?

Lebanon is a country in Western Asia, rich in natural scenery from beautiful beaches to mountains and valleys.

Doing a little bit of research I have found out that Baalbeck Roman Temples in the city of Baalbeck are among the largest and most beautiful Roman ruins, Al Bass Archaeological Site, Tyre, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest and best preserved Roman archaeological sites in the world. My dear Huguette, now I understand why Lebanese people are similar to Italians 🙂

Lebanon is also known for it’s open-air nightclubs, Beirut being a sleepless city, as the great majority of it, is open 24 hours a day. Can you imagine? Open 24 hours a day! This is great!

As Huguette was saying, Lebanon produces a lot of great wines and wine tasting is an absolute must if you plan to visit Lebanon. Cheers!

Did you know that most Lebanese citizens speak at least 3 languages and even if Lebanese Arabic is the official language, the working language in Lebanon is English?

Their food looks so delicious. You may start the day with “Manooushi” or “Labneh”, many kind of cheese, eggs, tomato, olives, or the famous Kunafa, and if you are a Shawarma lover, here you will find the most delicious Shawarma in the whole region.

If you want to learn more about Lebanon you can do it from a local by checking the links below….there isn’t a better way to discover a new place 🙂

Due to Huguette’s kindness, now I’m the proud owner of a piece of Lebanon and not only.

I have not enough words to thank you, Huguette! I’m really grateful to know you!
