Random Acts Of Kindness

I have been nominated by Huguette http://huguetteantoun.com for the Random Acts of Kindness.

It is the first time that I receive this award and I must say that I’m very grateful that I’ve found people that still believe that I’m kind 😉🤪

Dear Huguette, thank you very much. I’m very grateful that you believe in my kindness 🙂

Rules:

I do agree with Huguette that unfortunately there is very little kindness in this world and this is very sad thinking that our random acts of kindness and good deeds can make someone else’s entire day or someone’s else’s act of kindness can make our day. For example, not too long back, Rory from https://aguycalledbloke.blog/ surprised me by sending me the Snifty pens. If you don’t know yet what the Snifty pens are you may read here https://popsiclesociety.com/2019/05/23/its-so-good-to-be-back/. Rory’s act of kindness made not only my day but a lot of months to come as I have 5 pens to use 🙂 And to not forget that Rory lives in UK and I live in Singapore, more than 6,000 miles away 🙂

And from when I’ve started blogging, I’m glad enough to mention that I’ve got to know a lot of kind persons, you out there who read this post, yes, YOU 🙂 and this is making me happy 🙂 All your support, your time spent to read my posts, liking and commenting, all these are RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS and makes me very happy 🙂

Maybe you don’t have the chance everyday to help an older person or a child to cross the street or participate in a fundraiser or donate to a charity but don’t worry, you still can be kind.

You can start with a smile, it costs nothing, takes no time, and could make someone’s entire day.

Then you can continue by saying “thank you”, that is a word that sadly I’ve noticed a lot of people have forgot about it. “Thank you” can mean a lot, you even cannot imagine. Just try it!

Or if you are more talkative you can find opportunities to give compliments. Your compliments could be something silly, yet endearing. You do like to receive compliments right? Then why don’t give them yourself? Don’t just think it. Say it.

In my small, I do try my best to be kind with people and with nature and is a wonderful feeling. I don’t participate in fundraising or I don’t serve at a homeless shelter because I did not have the chance, however I always try my best to do good for a good cause, help the ones in need, donate my old and good clothes, donate food, hold the elevator for someone, smile, sharing positivity, don’t waste and keep clean our world and be grateful.

Everyone can be kind! Just think how different this world would be if everyone took a few minutes out of their day to be kind. Start today! It is not a gesture, it is a way of living!
