Easter Recipes Ideas

With the Easter holiday approaching, finding the perfect recipe to serve at gatherings can seem like a daunting task. To make things simpler, consider looking for recipes that will stay true to the spirit of spring.

Buying and cooking with seasonal, local produce is sure to be a hit with family and friends. Moreover, an easy way to liven up any classic Easter dish is by adding color! Consider preparing recipes with vibrant seasonal vegetables such as carrots, cauliflower, or asparagus.

You can also get creative and use fruit such as oranges or lemons which add beautiful hues and unique flavors.

A delicious Easter gathering can be easily achieved by getting creative in the kitchen!

  1. Your delicious post made me hungry, Ribana! White Chocolate Cadbury Soft Fondant Center Eggs Tart caught my eye right away – I would love to try a slice or two of it. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

    1. Wow, great! Well, I would suggest seeing the Roman Amphitheater, better known as the “Arena”, which is, together with Romeo and Juliet, the symbol that makes Verona famous all over the world; of course Juliet’s house is a must, even if very touristy, but is the place that inspired the love story par excellence. During the market, on Saturdays and Sundays, I suggest seeing Piazza delle Erbe, which is the living room of the city, where the Veronese meet to do their shopping or for the ritual of the evening aperitif. It is a colorful fruit and vegetable market with its row of umbrellas, surrounded by historic buildings and monuments, is the oldest square in Verona, where medieval buildings gradually replaced those Romans. Another interesting thing to see is Piazza dei Signori and Scaliger Arches, where in the center of the square, is the large statue of Dante, who found refuge in Verona immediately after his exile from Florence. Verona has a centuries-old culinary tradition, which descends from the kitchens of the local lords and is now continued by restaurants and trattorias. Not only rice and polenta, but some specialties that are little known outside the local borders but you must absolutely try: the “pearà”, for example, boiled beef with bread sauce, pepper and cheese, or the “paparele”, tagliatelle with peas and beans. Among the desserts, the Pandoro, known throughout the world but which you can find during Christmas time, and the almond cake from Cologna Veneta. Wish you a wonderful trip Rupali! Enjoy it and have fun!

      1. I wrote a comment prior but it might have gone to your spam folder, or maybe it didn’t send. I had unreliable internet at the time I sent the previous message. We happened to be in Singapore visiting my husband’s relatives and I wanted to reach out. That was the message in a nutshell. 😅

      2. Sorry I did not receive it, I have just checked my spam too but nothing from you there, just nonsense messages 😅 I’m sorry I’ve missed you but I hope you had a great time in Singapore. The weather was one of the most humid weeks but still, Singapore is Singapore 😉

      3. It’s surprisingly warm here in Calgary, AB this week – it’s in the low-mid 20s and it’s nice that the snow is finally gone. We have very dry air here so it’s much different than the humid air in Singapore 🌴☀️

Haha very true. “Singapore is Singapore.” 😂

  2. Lot of options 😄 thank you for sharing 😊hope you had a happy Easter 🐣
Here the traditions are Maamoul and Kaak (walnuts , pistachio and dates for maamoul) and the kaak is without filling, of course they are so delicious and you should add them to your recipes 🤗💕🧸
