Hello April

Hello my dear readers,

Well, time really does fly very fast. Already three months from 2022 are gone, and April is here!

Hello April

How was your March?

For me, was another busy month. My March flew by between office work, developing recipes, home work, exercising, and studying.

I’m glad that I’ve managed to reach the last module of my course, and hopefully in a couple of months I’ll get my qualification as a nutritionist.

And despite my busy schedule, I did manage to finish reading another book, so yay, 3 months, 3 books 😉

In March I’ve read On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong.

On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong

“I was once foolish enough to believe knowledge would clarify, but some things are so gauzed behind layers of syntax and semantics, behind days and hours, names forgotten, salvaged and shed, that simply knowing the wound exists does nothing to reveal it.”

– a passage from On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong

Life is always complicated and sometimes knowledge is not enough!

Synopsis of the book:

This book is a letter from a son to a mother who cannot read. It tells about Vietnam, of the lasting impact of war, and of his family’s struggle to forge a new future.

I must admit that it is a good book, but a little bit out of my normal reading.

For the cooking part, I share some of the recipes that I’ve enjoyed developing:

A lovely homemade carrot cake
Easy and Delicious Homemade Apple Pie
Beef Birria Tacos

This month, finally, after almost 9 years, it was time to change my iPad. Wow! Blogging from a new functional iPad is absolutely awesome. My previous one was so old, that the WordPress app did not work anymore and was way too slow for the web version. I still like to do my posts from my MacBook, but checking comments and reading your posts from the iPad is absolutely gorgeous ☺️

This month is time to celebrate Easter 🐰

Happy, hoppy Easter to you all!

Wish you all a wonderful April, filled with health, happiness, love and lots of accomplishments.

Happy April!

  1. Glad to see you manage your time so well. It’d have been difficult to study, blog, exercise and simultaneously read a book, right?? And do post whenever you become an authorised nutritionist. Would be happy to see your success. 😀
    Good luck.
