What a privilege

Hello my dear readers,

If you are like me, and you start to be depressed on Sunday evening because tomorrow is Monday and is ‘back to work’ time, then let’s try this together:

When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love…

Let’s be positive and appreciate the fact that we are alive, we are healthy, we have a job and let’s try to enjoy it.

Stay safe and have a wonderful and positive week!

Never miss a post!

  1. I am depressed. I can’t go to clinical again because of another COVID outbreak, so idk what to do at this point. I was supposed to have a night shift tonight.

      1. Hard to relax knowing that I can’t graduate at this rate because I don’t have enough hours to graduate. And repeating the semester isn’t an option for me.

      2. Unfortunately the virus situation seems to stay even longer than expected! Getting the virus isn’t an option too 😞 Stay strong and safe Hilary!

      3. I’ll be getting COVID tested this week since they want all staff and students to get tested now. I’ve got body chills and aches and praying it’s not COVID. Regardless, I think it’s a bit too late as the unit is officially on outbreak according to one student. I’ve been hearing different stories from different people so it’s hard to know what’s true at this point.

      4. 😞😞 I hope is not COVID 😷 it can be mild, just like a flu or can get worse 😞
I hope everything will be ok Hilary! Stay strong! Mentally and physically 💓💕

      1. Unfortunately I have no idea…can be that the format is not supported? I’m reading it from mobile…sometimes they have certain blocks that are not supported…

  2. This is so true. Sometimes we get so busy and stuck in our daily routine that we forget to take the time to be grateful to be alive. It’s a blessing to be able to count our blessings.
“I remember the days of old; I meditate on all your activity; I eagerly ponder over the work of your hands.” – Psalms 143:5

  3. No single day of the week divides people quite like a Monday. I love Mondays, and I love fresh start of the week; just imagine all the possibilities. The best way to get through Monday if you are not fond of them is to practice random acts of kindness. You’ll be surprised how they change your day 😀 Aiva

    1. Very true! I do like Mondays too but when I don’t need to go to work 🤪
Yes, I believe making even small acts of kindness can change a day! For example even smiling and saying good morning can change ours and someone else’s day 😉☀️
Have a wonderful week Aiva! 🌸☀️

  4. Very good advice Ribana! It’s always better to look at the positive rather than the negative. And even though it might not look like it sometimes, there is always positive things in our lives, such as life itself and so much beauty around us, friends and family, pets, wonderful place to live! Have a great evening and Friday Ribana!😁😺🌞😻

    1. Very true Steve! Instead of complaining we should really stop and look at the beautiful things that surround us! Being alive and being able to enjoy this beauty that the world give us is priceless 🥰
Pets are a wonderful thing in our life! They do know how to make our life more funny 😁😼😻 🐶 I cannot wait for that moment to come when I’ll be able to have lots of pets 😁

      1. Yes indeed, life is too short to complain and grumble, better to enjoy and be thankful! And Muffin adds, pet an animal at every opportunity!😀😺😻
