Funny not funny

Hello my dear readers,

And finally weekend is here. It was an awful week, actually if I think about it, this year so far started not really in a good way…hopefully moving forward the situation will go back to ‘normal’.

In the meantime, I need some distraction so…🥂

Currently we’ve reached 67 cases of coronavirus here, with new confirmed cases every day.

And while some are suffering, some are fighting the virus, some are trying to protect themselves as much as they can, some are panic buying hoarding on toilet paper.

If you want to laugh a little bit look here and see some of the collateral effects of the coronavirus.

And if you are not the person that usually click on other links in a blog, believe me, you’ll have some fun, even if the situation is tragic.

Curious enough?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Stay safe!

Love, R

  1. I had been thinking about you Ribana, knowing you were in Singapore. So I am glad to hear from you how things are going. Please stay as safe as you can. This too will pass. ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Thank you very much Lorraine! Very appreciated! Cases are increasing everyday, but seems so far they are managing the situation.Thank you again and wish you health and all the best Lorraine! 💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗🌸🌸🌸

      1. I just pray that the rate of increase dies down. It is a fearful and difficult time for everybody. Try to stay healthy Rubana, as I know you will. I will still be thunking about you. Hope you will be able to keep us updated. Take care my dear friend ❤️

      2. I don’t know whether oraying does any good, but one feels so helpless in the face of this thing. Sending live anyway, and wishung more could be done.

      3. We are helpless dear Lorraine, what we can do is to try our best to maintain hygiene and avoid crowded places! Thank you very much for your love and support! Very appreciated! Sending you lots of love 🤗🤗💕💕

  2. Oops that’s sad, 67 corona is really high😟 Don’t panic, I’m sure people have enough immune system to fight against the virus. It is not a situation to get panic, a situation to realise life is short and stay hygienic. Panic doesn’t going to help anything 😉 Stay safe, play smart✨ Happy Weekend ✨💐

    1. 72 currently and are increasing daily…the problem is that it depends on the organism…for every person is different and we don’t know how our body can react to it….of course more illnesses one have, more difficult is to combat it…
True, we need to stay vigilant and protect ourselves as much as we can! Hygiene is very important always!
Thank you Simon! Wish you a wonderful Sunday! 🤩😊🤗

    1. We try to avoid crowded places and going out only to work or for groceries….for the rest better avoid everything for now…Luckily the situation so far still seems under control! Hopefully will remain this way! Thank you very much! Stay safe too!

  3. That is smart with the condoms…never thought of that. I brought up the toilet paper in my last comment. If we run out of gloves then condoms for your fingers work too. Smart not to panic. The closer we get to our election here in the US I fear it will be ugly and this virus will have a period of rest before it takes off again and the rest if the world hasn’t seen it’s effect yet, just watching China which is so heart breaking. China supplies most of the world with products. Medicine, medical parts, technology etc….in a couple of months the whole world will start feeling this effect. This is when I worry people will start hoarding everywhere. Products will become harder to get. We even get our pet food from China. Baby formula etc…check your items in the stores and you will know what I am talking about. China keeps the whole world running smoothly, this virus is scary.

    1. So very true! I guess already this virus is felt everywhere in the world….if not by confirmed cases, by missing supplies…a lot of companies around the world are depending on supplies from China, which currently cannot deliver…economy will feel this virus a lot I’m afraid….and as you said, I don’t think we are at the peak yet…😖
People are very inventive though and try all the ways to protect themselves….so far they say there is food for everyone but you know…people don’t trust very much what governments are saying…so they think to better buy now…currently they’ve started to fill the shelves again but the facial masks and sanitiser are still missing…but I guess China is a priority! They need all these kind of supplies and I’m glad countries are helping them! This is important!

  4. Yes Ribanna, It varies person to person, someone like me have the High chances as my immune is worst 😄😂 But it’s something serious to be careful. wish you all get enough products to keep yourself safe. I’m sure other countries are doing it in high priority. Have a good day. Nas daily from singapore had portrayed it more positively check out his video in facebook or instagram.

      1. Yes Ribana I know it’s time consuming and you are very busy in daily routine…..!! 💕 Love your open mind and wish you a great week !!! 🌹 😊 💙

  5. 😂 I think I’ll prioritize something else than toilet paper. I can always make myself squeaky clean with water. I’ll probably collect food first.

And of course you need condoms! You don’t want an extra finger 😂

    1. I couldn’t understand either why toilet paper 🙂
I understand alcohol and hand sanitizer and food but toilet paper? As you said, there are other ways to keep us clean 🙂
Condoms, I see nowadays have different purposes :)))
      🤗🤗💕

  6. Very important thing I missed to write down about Corona. Here 3 cases were report and Government declared emergency for one week Now by God’s grace its under control here !!!😠

      1. Yes, Every one should be wary of the disease and take part in Governments updates !! Hope Singapore administration team will manage this situation greatly and people must stay safe !!! Take care friend…!!! 🌸💙

      2. Thank you Suni! So far they seems to manage it pretty well! We hope they’ll be able to fight it! Stay safe and take care too dear Suni! 🌸🌺🌼💕

  7. well I have learnt new use for condoms, however I do not think they are going to be really useful especially if lubricated. The virus will stick and then when you remove the condoms you are at risk of getting the virus on your hands.

  8. Don’t start me on the whole toilet paper debacle!! It is now beyond ridiculous. I live in a small rural area and in the supermarkets there are security guards on the toilet paper aisle!! I kid you not! What is the World coming to??

    1. I’ve noticed the first impact where coronavirus lands is this panic and hoarding toilet paper…no matter the country, people rush to the supermarkets and buy toilet paper 🤔 I still need to figure it out why though 🤔

  9. Wow Ribana, I can’t believe how ahead you were on COVID! I saw some health articles in February, but it was hardly on my radar until March ~ now it’s just as viral online as it is in real life!
