Saturday! I don’t know how is your Saturday but usually mine is pretty full. I’m always trying to organize my week in such a way to be free during the weekend but then I always find something else to add to my to do list and in the end Saturday is a busy day 🙂
but at leas I don’t need to go to work and my list is full with happy things to do such as offering a little bit of care to my few plants, taking a little bit care of myself, doing some research and writing my blog posts, enjoying nature by doing long walks into the reservoir or having new experiences in the kitchen 🙂 It can really take your whole day, you know?
Speaking about nature, is so sad what is happening with Brazil’s Amazon rainforest. Wildfires often occur in the dry season in Brazil but the space agency reports its satellite data has detected more than 72,000 fires since January 2019, an 83 % increase compared to the same period in 2018. In addition to the dry season, fires are deliberately started in efforts to illegally deforest land for cattle ranching. And now you would say: actions? Yes, the federal prosecutors will open official investigation into the rise in deforestation and forest fires, but that’s it! We are keep opening investigations but in the end we are destroying our world day by day!
Amazon, being the largest rainforest on the planet, is often referred to as the planet’s lungs, because it produces 20 % of the oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere, and beside being home to numerous species of fauna and flora, is vital in slowing global warming.
Wake up people! I guess this planet had enough! Please be considerate! Please respect our planet not only because is the only one we have, but because we consider ourselves human beings!
Be considerate! Enjoying nature doesn’t mean we need to destroy it!
We can enjoy nature in simple ways: don’t trow your garbage when you’re enjoying your walk into the forest, start using the cloth bags when you’re doing your shopping, stop using so much plastic, are only small things that can mean a lot.

It’s so sad what’s happening to the Amazon! I hardly knew by chance at it’s some trivial news!! Seems that nobody cares and this is a disaster! I hope people will realize how important our nature is and we should really preserve it and protect it! We are ungrateful human beings and we deserve all the shit happening to us 🙄🙄

The Amazon fires are a nightmare that could engulf the entire planet with smoke and dust. And the G7 is meeting and cannot agree on anything. I am giving up plastic bags and trying to do what else I can Thank you for the lovely plates . I enjoyed them very much.
True! Unfortunately people are not able to agree on anything! What is important for them are money, definitely not our nature, our planet, our life! This is very sad! 😔 I hope they will start realising it, before is not too late!

Hi Ribana, l run a small arbitration account on Amazon and the sales can be okay, but l am working towards a fuller FBA account for next year, so in short yes the sales can be better -.
As to promotions of your store do your hosts not have sellers tips guides to promotion on YouTube?

Yes, they have tips and courses but you know, same old story, in the end everything goes to Facebook and Google Ads 🙂
Mm, well the post you created here Ribana, was an excellent way of self promotion and you can easily do those 🙂
Perhaps having a personalised signature banner for your store created to drop on the bottom of each post that you create would be something to consider.
When l ran my posts displaying my Redbubble Tee Shirt designs, l boosted sales because the designs were in people’s eyes.
All my Classic Eggshell Moment designs are found on one page https://aguycalledbloke.blog/classic-eggshell-moments/
But l don’t principally advertise the page daily, it’s there if people stumble upon it, but in the future l will be having persionalised banners made up to drop at the bottom of specially created design posts – not shoving it down in front of people, but offering the choice to visit.
When l start the second season of environmental posts, l shall once more display the designs in the post – l think with today’s digital world as it is that with a blog you have a golden opportunity for being able to create posts around your products and having banners to self promote your store as very good go to prompts for people to respond to.
This way you don’t just have FB and or Google Ads, but also when you say FBook is this just to your friends?
Why not open up a ‘Group Page’ first to private, then invite your friends to it, then they can invite their friends to it, then you can go public group and utilise FBook driven adverts?
Yes, I’ve started creating posts to promote it…one of the reason I’ve change a little bit my blog, in order to focus more on this topic, food, tableware…😊
And at the same time, I’m trying to not be too pushy as is really not my style, as we discussed the other day for hard sales…😊
The idea of the signature banner is not bad at all…I did one which I use for certain posts but maybe I should put it at the bottom of each post….just in case someone wants to take a look 😊
Well, I’m not a very social person in reality but also on socials 🤪 I only have a few friends on Facebook as I never focused too much on that…I always found it a waste of time, so not too many friends to promote it…I have created my Page on Facebook and I’m trying to enter in the various communities and groups interested in the topic…but you know, everything takes time 😊Creating my own group I did not think about it as not sure how it works…if I can invite anyone interested in that topic or only my connections…something to explore 🧐
Doing Facebook ads is regardless of the friends as is advertising to all Facebook users based on the audience you chose…so for example, I can create an ad and advertise it to all women between 20 and 50 years old from Ohio for example that has interest in tableware. So Facebook will show the ad only to these particular audience…
I did tried it for work for creating awareness and I got a lot of impressions….but I did not tried it for my shop yet….I thought creating a little bit of organic impression first…

There are plenty of ways to succeed Ribana, it’s a case of finding the right ingredient that works for you.
One l am studying now is called The authority Method by Ollie Denier – it requires that l build up a huge Facebook following for it to work – and that’s the ONE thing l would absolutely detest – have to build my confidence levels up for that 🙂
I know! I guess we just need to be consistent and always searching and exploring and trying and in the end I’m sure we’ll find it!

Well, you can buy the followers – it’s a feature FB offer – but as a platform, it’s one l aseriously don’t like – it’s just way too social and way too not me 🙁
