That feeling

Usually I work out 5, 6 times per week but recently I have stopped for around 10 days. I have restarted my work out routine last Monday and is easy to say that on Friday my whole body was aching. I have started with cardio and my first 5 minutes on the tapis roulant on Friday morning were awful. But after the first 5 minutes my body started to get used to the movement and everything went smooth.

I have could stopped or simply don’t go, especially because I work out at 6 am in the morning, because is my only spare time during the day, but I went and I did my work out. Everything depends on me, if I want to do it or not.

Everything is in our mind, and we can control it. We are the only ones that can control our minds.

Nothing comes easy but believe me you can control it! Don’t find you excuses, you can always do it! It is depending only on you! And that feeling at the end? Priceless.

Start doing what you like, even if the journey is not smooth, you always can do it! Just believe in yourself!

    1. Yes, is the only time of the day I can go…as from 7:30am I’m already on my way to the office and I come back at 7:30-8pm in the evening…after I prepare the dinner and I finish with house works, I definitely don’t have the energy to go to the gym 🤪
      Luckily your son keeps you fit 😅🤪😉🌸

    1. Yes, I’m trying as much as I can to work out…it makes me feel good 😉 and in his way I can eat whatever I want 🤪

  2. Well done Ribana. I used to work out sometimes twice a day, plus swim 30 lengths a day. Hey folks, do it while you can! Take the moment. I can’t do it any more because of being blind and wheelchair bound. But oh boy, how I wish I could. I miss the gym. But no way can I go back to it. Just getting to the bathroom feels impossible some days. Go abead folks, do it while you still can. I used to feel great when I could do it

  3. Oh I know this feeling very well! Each time I stop exercising for 10 days and when back, it hurts! A lot! like now it’s been 2 weeks and should be back today, I exercise after work, morning is so difficult to me, I don’t function, I might fall 😄😄
    I made a system, 3 to 4 times per week, and it was very good and about the excuses, I can tell you that if you want it, you can do it! there are some days I couldn’t breathe, felt I want to die because there wasn’t enough air and so…some other days I was dizzy, because I wasn’t used at all, I sit, rest then I get up and continue,…So yes, everything in our mind and if we want it, we can do it 😊

I hope your work out went well 🙂 Is always difficult and painful to restart but how good makes you feel if you do it 🙂 That is really priceless 🙂 Last night I had 39 fever, I had my dinner and went to bad as I couldn’t keep my eyes open but this morning I was up and into the gym even if still with 37.4 fever…it was a little bit hotter than usual but I still did it. Is always in our mind if we want to do it or not. But our body sometimes doesn’t want to feel the pain then is coming our with the excuses. We just need to find our way, our system that works for us. I’m glad you found yours! Exercising helps a lot, especially if you like to eat and drink, like me 🙂

      1. Oh my! Hope you will get well soon :/ with fever you can have a bit rest! Actually I couldn’t catch up, had many things to manage and couldn’t catch up at all hopefully next week I will and yes it feels so good certainly 🙂
        Yes I know what you mean with the excuses and we should fight them and then I read that you shouldn’t force yourself and stuff, I really don’t know but I know I have to keep moving especially that I love to eat and drink 😀 😀

      2. We should never force ourselves but we should never stop moving 🤪😉 We need to do it in a fun way 🤪😉 Otherwise we see it as a “to do” which we are full of them 🤪😊
