Seafood Barbecue 🍤

One of the nice things of the condos in Singapore is that they have barbecue pit 😊 They have both grill and plate so it’s easy to cook everything you wish.

We like to enjoy Saturday evenings in good company and with a good barbecue 😋

Sometimes we do meat, sometimes fish, sometimes both…it’s so easy and fun 😊

What you need are some prawns or shrimps that we put on skewers to avoid losing them through the grill grates 🤪 Some calamari that we previously cleaned and cut in pieces and salmon. Octopus is great too only that is very difficult to find it in Singapore. Then of course some chicken thighs for the kids 😊

For the vegetables, we like to do zucchini, eggplants and peppers. Sometimes we add also mushrooms, asparagus….everything you like can be cooked on the grill 😊 Everything seasoned with salt, pepper, finely chopped garlic and parsley and lots of good olive oil.

And of course cannot have any barbecue without lots of garlic bread 😋😊

And to not forget that we are in Asia, for the sweet, some dumplings made with sticky rice, sweet potato and bananas everything wrapped in banana leaf and grilled on the barbecue 😋

Everything so simple, yet so delicious 😋

Good food, good company, my favourite way of spending Saturday evenings 😊

  1. This looks so good and I bet it will taste equally amazing. I have eaten barbeque but never made it. I will surely try it out as my mouth is watering even at the thought of it. 😂❤️

  2. Yum! My husband and I love to grill on Saturdays too! The condos here in the Philippines don’t have grill plates though! I hope you had/are having a fantastic Saturday!

  3. I love to barbecue. The season is so limited here in the UK so it is almost a frenzy as soon as there is a bit of sunshine and not freezing! I love the sound of a weekly barbecue and yours looks like such a treat 🙂

    1. Thank you 😊Yes, I know…also back home in Italy we were waiting for spring to do barbecue but sometimes we did it also in winter time 🤪 Here in Singapore can do it all year round 😊

  4. Mouthwatering! 🙂 Now that reminds me that, with the weather improving, it’s time to get the BBQ pit out again.

      1. And it’s soooooooooooooooooooooooo Texan! Therefore, if I really want to assimilate, I NEED to bbq. 😀
