Janet’s questions

1.Tell us three things about the place and country where you live now.

My home is in Singapore for more than 6 years now. A country where the entire year is hot and sunny, it is also called a city in a garden as everywhere you go you are surrounded by nature and they also call it a food paradise as you can eat all kind of cuisines 😊

2.Can you name a teacher you remember for their influence or words of wisdom?

I do remember my mechanical engineering professor from university that always reminded us that once we graduate from university we will not be smarter than the others that did not graduate, the only difference is that we will know where to look for information while the others don’t. 😊

3.Have you been to a school reunion, if so were you glad you went?

No I did not. I left Romania and my school colleagues more than 10 years ago and I was not able to join them. But I’m not sad I didn’t do it.😊

4.If money or rarity were not problems, what would you like for your next birthday present?

A vacation to Peru 😊

5.If you were stranded on a desert island with nothing and let’s face it, if you were shipwrecked you are not likely to have your favourite books etc. Would you rather have any person with you or be alone?

I would love to have my best friend which happens to be also my husband 😊💕

6.If you were offered a part as an extra in a film, what would you like to be?

Oh…this is difficult….maybe one of the superheroes, Wonder Woman 😊😝

7.If reincarnation is true, who or what would you be next time?

Definitely a dog 🐶😊

8. What is your favourite mode of transport?

Walking 🚶‍♀️

9.City, suburbs or rural retreat?

Rural retreat….saying that from Singapore 😊

10.What is your idea of a dream night out?

A good dinner by the sea watching the sunset 🌅

11. When you are buying birthday cards do you choose flowery or funny ?

It always depends on the person but I always try to go with funny 😁

  26. Thanks for your great answers Ribanna. For various reasons I have only managed to visit Singapore Airport on brief flight stopovers so far, I would love to see the real Singapore. In one of my many previous incarnations I worked in the Singapore Airlines First Class and Business lounges at Heathrow Airport ( serving noodles and congee ) – my favourite airline and passengers.

    1. Thank you for the nomination 💕 Was fun answering your questions 😊I like Singapore Airlines too 😊 Every time I have the occasion I try to fly SQ 😊I’ve never been in their lounges but I think are impressive 😊 Singapore is changing rapidly and is definitely a city to see 😊
