Good morning with smiles!!!!!!!!
Beautiful ๐๐
Except in NYC where people get upset when you even look at them!!!
Oh really? I did not know…๐ค But maybe a smile can cheer them up โบ๏ธ
Nope. It truly doesnโt work in NYC. Sad that city people have to be like that.
What a beautiful post!
Thanks for reading ๐

That is so true. Simple eye contact and a hello go a long way.
Very true ๐
How is it that the simple, low-cost things in life seem to matter most? I wish more people knew this. Thank you for the uplifting post.
Oh yes ๐ Thanks for stopping by ๐

Thank you for stopping by too ๐๐ Glad Iโve found your blog ๐
I often add a “hello” type greeting – that either gets one back or at least a smile – I regularly do it (hello) on buses, I often think that drivers get such a hard time, and it’s nice to acknowledge that I hope they will safely drive me somewhere. And then I’m known to have quite random chats with people (strangers) and I have learnt some extraordinary things about their day or their lives…
https://cedar51.wordpress.com/2018/04/05/3-huskies-to-the-philipines/ – I see I didn’t mention the title, but that had been a recent job….and then it post goes onto another bus connection about bowling greens – I love having these chats, as often there is so much unsaid …
A simple โhelloโ can change someoneโs day ๐ Thanks for stopping by! Have a lovely day! ๐
I think a lot of people do smile at strangers. Dog walkers smile at each other, if you’re out with a toddler or puppy lots of people smile. On the cliff top people smile as they pass each other; either they are in holiday mood or they live at the seaside – aren’t we lucky to live here. Sunshine brings out a cheerful countenance. But more important is to engage in eye contact with the elderly, the Big Issue seller, the harrased parent when the day is gloomy, the traffic busy.
Hi Popsiclesociety,
There is no better way to live life than to make a lasting impression on others. And one of the best ways is to smile at others including strangers. In fact, I have made many exciting relationships with a simple smile. It is good that you write about it.
Thank you ๐ Yes, a smile can do wonders ๐๐๐ธ
