  1. In families with trust, responsibility, hard work, and love, working together, I have noticed children coming from such lives tend to be more confident, goal-oriented, and structured with of course spontaneity. In today’s world, we see our values under constant attack. We see the future as something to worry about. From every corner, in every computer and television, we are constantly bombarded with fear and doubt. Whether it’s crime, changing social rules, health issues, retirement changes, or anything else imaginable, we see society constantly evolving, but also losing track with our heritage. It’s no wonder so many suffer. Without a beacon to hold onto, which resides within each and every one of us, we can be like ships without a compass.

      1. Very true. The difficulty comes in when some are busy trying to be themselves, trying to pursue their dreams, but missing the boat in being here, now, today, present. The happiness we’re looking for is staring us in the face all day long, I believe. I see it in kids’ faces.
