Jurong Bird Park, located in Singapore is the largest bird park in Asia. It has almost 3,500 birds across 400 species from which 20% are threatened. As you walk into the park, you immerge in huge walk-in aviaries with free flying birds. Is like when you go into a butterfly house only that is huge and colourful birds will fly around you.
Jurong Bird Park is part of Wildlife Reserves in Singapore and is the only park in the Asia Pacific to have an Avian Hospital. You can see the Bali mynah, blue-throated macaw, black palm cockatoo, hyacinth macaw, red-fronted macaw and the red-tailed black cockatoo, the black hornbill, great Indian hornbill and twelve-wired bird of paradise, common crowned pigeons, nine colourful lory species and you can get to feed them while walking across suspended bridges.
I loved to see the colourful lories taking a shower and enjoying the water 😊
It is really an unique experience.
Of course is still nature and you are still in Singapore, so no surprise to see wild green iguanas. 🦎
Wow, those are some beautiful birds.
These are looking so cute and beautiful 😍
Nearly 10 years since I visited. Time to reacquaint with the birdies!
Sono tutti bellissimi, incluso l’iguana. Mi piace sempre vedere fauna esotica!

Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a entirely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
Absolutely gorgeous. I had an Iguana named Van Gogh. 🙂 The birds are truly beautiful. Thank you.
Oh wow 😮
He was wonderful. He liked to be petted and used to sleep on the kids while they did their homework. 🙂 Named him after Van Gogh because of the whole ear thing. LOL
That’s impressive ☺️ I’m very afraid of them 😅
